From Conservation of photographic negatives
Unfortunately it wasn't possible to keep this website accessible for the exchange of information, knowledge and experience with the idea of biggest possible dynamic and openness. Within a very short period of time useful information was replaced by long lists of dubious links, far away from the original content.
After several efforts to revoke unwanted editing I had to realize that this time consuming task is nearly incompatible with a full-time job as conservator.
Therefore in the meanwhile the access was limited to reading and opening pages. Active participance will be restricted for the time being. But I'm still working on the realization of the original idea.
Participance of any kind is very much appreciated via email. I will try to bind the given information into the website.
