Hi! My name is Elvira, I'm from Bologna [1] a beautiful town in Italy. I was born in 1966 and I've been involved with photographic conservation since 1990 when I attend a two years long training project focused on film and photo conservation. In 1994 I left L'Immagine Ritrovata and estabilished La Fototeca [2] In these years I have seen so many wonderful images and got in touch with Institution interesterd in photo conservatione and valorisation and faced the constant lack of money for pubblic photo archive. Fallen in love with the internet from 1992 I spend a lot of time on line. In my free time I escape in my house in the forest (with my 3 crazy cats) as soon as I can. If you see me outdoor with my camera probably I'm going to explore some abandoned, ruined,forgotten place.
